False Chimney Breasts

A false chimney breast is built around a twin wall flue which is connected to the stove and removes exhaust gases from the wood burner and clear of the property.

This creates that traditional looking fireplace you’ve always wanted.

The images below show a false chimney breast made from steel studwork with an outer skin of plasterboard. The inner walls of the recess are covered with Compressed Vermiculite which can be painted in any quality, water based, matt emulsion. The images below also show a brick chimney breast we built.
